As I was channel surfing on the television one day, I came across an
infomercial for Tommie Copper compression products. Normally I would have
flipped right on by, but for some reason, and I can't tell you why, I stayed on
the channel. Montel Williams was touting the efficacy of the Tommie Copper
compression sleeves and how they helped him with his Multiple Sclerosis pain.
The infomercial was chock full of the usual, sketchy testimonials with claims of
people whose lives have been completely transformed by Tommie Copper. Although
skeptical, I decided to check out the company's website. I was anticipating
having to pay something along the lines of 4 payments of $19. 99 to order one of
the compressions sleeves, but found what I needed, the knee sleeve, to be a
reasonable $29. 50 plus reasonable shipping charges. Before finalizing the
decision to purchase, I wanted more information, as I don't like to rely on
testimonials from websites selling the products, and celebrity endorsements are
of no value to me. I went online and found one testimonial that seemed legit,
until I read that the guy had contacted Tommie Copper and told them he would
write a review in exchange for the product. Not reliable in my opinion. All in
all, I didn't see any testimonials that I trusted, so I decided to buy the
product with the intent on returning it if it didn't work.

Approximately a week and a half after ordering
the Tommie Copper knee sleeve, I received the small envelope in the mail. When I
pulled the knee sleeve out of the package, to say I was skeptical that it would
work is an understatement. The sleeve is very lightweight, there are no lateral
protections (metal or "boning") and the material seems very flimsy. I saved the
receipt and the packaging, as I was certain this thing was going back.
I
wore the knee sleeve the first day for a 1 mile walk. The sleeve didn't seem to
help the throbbing in my knee much. The following day I wore the knee sleeve for
the usual 3 mile walk. In the beginning of the walk, there was no noticeable
difference in my knee pain; however , by mid-walk and at the end of the walk, I
did notice much less knee pain than usual. I wore the knee sleeve every day for
the first week. For walks 1 mile or less, the sleeve didn't help much with knee
pain, but for the walks 3 miles or more, my|healthcare professional|personal|my

knee sleeve, I went a couple of 3 milers without it, to the tune of throbbing
knee pain at the end of the walks. Needless to say, I haven't sent the knee
sleeve back.
I'm not sure how or the why this knee sleeve helps with

every time I walk now and I have even started jogging in short distances,
something that I had given up on doing prior to the knee sleeve. I only wear the
sleeve when I walk or run, not continuously, as some other people claim to do.
While I find the sleeve to be fairly comfortable, I can't say that I would want
to wear it continuously.
I don't have a dramatic testimonial and I don't
claim that I would go back to skating or skiing with this knee sleeve, but for

little light jogging, the Tommie Copper knee sleeve has significantly reduced
the throbbing in my knee.
Disclosure: I am not a paid reviewer for Tommie
Copper and have not received any product from them in exchange for a review. I
purchased the Tommie Copper knee compression sleeve as any consumer would do,
received it in the mail as any consumer would do, and wore it for personal use.
I make no claim that anyone will have the same results that I had with these
products and this review is informational only, based on my own personal
experience.
